Internal Audit in Local Authorities Report 2023
On March 21, 2024, The National Oversight and Audit Commission published a report entitled “Internal Audit in Local Authorities Report". One of NOAC’S statutory functions under the Act includes the examination of financial performance and audit. This report is informed by a comprehensive survey carried out by NOAC in the summer of 2023.
